Monumental Moments...

I took a day trip to Washington D.C. yesterday to see the Martin Luther King Monument and it was truly an amazing sight.  I knew it was something I needed to see and I am so grateful.  These pictures really don't do the monument justice.  The monument is HUGE and overlooks the water as if Martin Luther King Jr himself is "keeping an eye on things."  I will leave you with some pictures and my favorite quote from Martin Luther King Jr.  I also encourage you to visit the monument for yourselves.

"Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase."

Spreading a little Thanksgiving love...

Wishing each of you a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Random Thoughts on a Wednesday Night...

I thought it was Thursday ALL Day...

I shaved 5 mins off my drive to work in the am...only to realize I drove down a ONE-WAY the WRONG WAY for TWO Blocks!

Did Chrissy really stomp that girl in the face on Love & Hip Hop?

Did Jim Jones mom have on booty shorts and make a rap song?

Does anyone watch Bad Girls Club?

Why do I only hear strange noises in the house when my boo isn't home?

My dad reads my blog :)

Is Thanksgiving really next Thursday?

Is Christmas really a month away?

I want a Vanilla Egg Cream!

I still hate wearing a uniform to work...although it has saved me time and money!

I like to drive with the heat on and the windows down in the winter (Don't judge me!)

I think leopard goes with everything!

Come Home with me...

This weekend was my HOMECOMING!!!  I went to the The University of Delaware and it truly was an amazing experience.  I met amazing people, made great friends, learned ALL about me and most of all received my bachelors degree.  Moments and experiences like this always make me reflect and I become extremely sentimental.  I called my dad just to thank him for my college education.  I owe it to him and my mother.  My brother also graduated from UD which I always think is pretty cool. We attended our first homecoming together back in 2006 :)

Here are a couple of pics of the weekend...

My brother another fellow UD alum is a published author and Emcee!!

This sign was in the school bookstore - love the play on words  "DelaWear"
